Greatest Discovery Ever...

So today, while I was browsing through my pictures and videos I found the best entry to this video blog ever. It's a video from Melissa's birthday of Caitlin, the most hilarious person I know, giving her a lapdance. I promised I wouldn't put this on Facebook or YouTube so this is where it lives. However, it makes me insanely happy to watch this video, and it's to the Spice Girls, need I say more?

Put a Little Ice On It

Today was the first trip to the ice skating arena this season. I absolutely love ice skating and I'm really glad that I went. It's always makes me realize that I need to do it more often. However, when ice skating seems so normal to me after doing for the last twelve years, at least, it's not so normal for my friend Melissa. She's never been ice skating, or roller-blading. So, this was a brand new thing, and I thought it was AWESOME! Here is a little insight into the wonderful experience... enjoy.

It was a very interesting time and I had a lot of fun. Gotta love group activities.

Through the looking glass...

Hello Everyone! My name is Charlie Shaw and currently, I am a senior at Central Michigan University, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. I am twenty-one years old I am creating this blog as more of a video blog with clippings from my everyday life. The purpose of this blog, and that idea that is came from, if you couldn't tell from the title, is because I bought a new Flip Video camcorder today. I want to record random happenings in my everyday life and hopefully provide some humor along the way. A second bonus is for me to be able to take more than still pictures of my life so that, years from now, I can look back and remember more than a single picture frame can tell. So, in this blog, I will post videos. I will provide background information on people and situations to help everyone understand that environment that scene was taken from and hopefully the funny ones will make you laugh, the sad ones will make you understand, and the ones in any other category, exactly that; a league of their own. So, let's begin....

One of my best friends in the world is a young lady named Stacey. She is fantastic in just about every way. Not perfect by any means, we all have flaws but she does have one quality that many people don't; the ability to make you laugh at any moment, for any reason. I have been friends with her older sister Lauren since the seventh grade, putting Stacey in the fifth grade when I first met here. We have been friends ever since.

In a lot of way we are very similar to each other, with a lot of the same characteristics, like, dislikes and hobbies. The most prominent; music. We've both been in band since it started in our school districts, fifth grade. We both played on the drumline in marching band, snare drum to be exact. Then towards the end of high school, we both joined the choir. It's was just another thing we had in common and another musical outlet to express ourselves. Musical theatre was another. She also attends Central Michigan University and has continued her musical interests here, as have I. We both are in the Concert Choir here and that is where this video takes place. After our choir class today. She has been dying to get a Flip for a while now. She mentioned it to me over Christmas Break and when I showed her that I had purchased one, this was her reaction...

After class, since I hadn't eaten yet today, we decided we needed to get something to eat. In town we have a really good Mexican restaurant, La Senoritas, best taco salad I've ever had. My roommate Melissa and I decided where we'd be going. Melissa graduated the same high school as I did, one year later. I was the class of 007. Melissa is currently my roommate and one of my closest friends. Caitlin is my pretend wife in real life, I will explain more later. Caitlin I met while here at CMU. I hope to continue our friendship until one or the both of us dies. :) Shain, also went with us to eat. I first met Shain my freshman year at CMU, he was one of the three roommates I had freshman year, and one of the first impressions I would have as a college student. He's a character and I have very much enjoyed the laughs and quirks about our friendship. Obviously, this video will explain itself however, Shain is the only other male. Caitlin is the one with the wonderfully obscene sense of humor, and Melissa is the Italian and Spanish senorita across the table.

After dinner, Shain, unfortunately, had to depart however, upon noticing that Melissa and I had locked ourselves out of our apartment, we decided to go on an adventure around Wal-mart. On the way out, this video explains why I love my friends.

The joke about Caitlin and I getting married, or being in a relationship, is hilarious because I am gay. I always feel awkward putting that out there, and being so, there it is, but there really isn't any other way to explain so...Anyway, we pretend to get engaged every other day but it was a big achievement to convince a stranger. I only wish I had her joyful reaction. It was awesome. The fact that Melissa or Shain hadn't given it away by laughing made it all the better.

This is just a taste. As I get used to having the ability to record my life, I'm sure these videos will get more entertaining. All the same the more I post the more you'll learn about me and my friends. Ultimately, the more and more enjoyable the videos will be. Till tomorrow then.... enjoy.
